Warwick's new Vice Chancellor, Professor Nigel Thrift, officially took up his role in the summer. Professor Thrift joins Warwick from the University of Oxford where he was Pro Vice Chancellor for Research. He was made Head of the Divison of Life and Environmental Sciences at Oxford in 2003, prior to which he chaired the Research Committee at the University of Bristol (2001-03) and chaired Bristol's Research Assessment Panel (1997-01).
The next issue will be out in November 2006 - let us know what you have been doing since leaving Warwick and be part of it.
