Adam Boddison and Annunziata Videtta

Adam Boddison (MA Educational Research Methods 2004-06, PGCE 2003-04, Mathematics 2000-03) and Annunziata Videtta (German Studies with Italian 1999-03, MA Italian Studies: Culture and Communication 2003-04) got married last August in Annunziata's home town of St Ives in Cambridgeshire. Many guests were associated with Warwick - current students, staff and alumni were represented. Adam and Annunziata met through their roles as residential staff living within the campus accommodation. Both are currently studying for a PhD at Warwick.

Gary Brown

Formica has appointed Gary Brown (MBA 2003-06) as European head of product and design development responsible for developing and implementing the product design and development strategy for the business in Europe. Gary moved from Ford of Europe where he worked for 15 years in a number of roles, latterly as production innovation leader

Jemima Tomlinson

The new marketing director of Musgrave Retail Partners GB is Jemima Tomlinson (MBA 2003-07). She joins Musgrave having spent the last 11 years with the Co-operative Group as food store general manager, amd mostly recently held the position of director of brand marketing. Jemima spent her early career with ASDA.

Mohammed Rahman

One of the first winners of the Letisha and Charlene Education awards is Mohammed Rahman (Computer Science 2004-07). He has set up a printing venture using the prize money of £2,000. The awards were launched in 2006 as a memorial to two teenagers who were shot dead in Birmingham five years ago.

Recycling mobile phones

Don't forget that if you have an old mobile phone - even if it isn't in working order - it can be recycled to raise funds to support initiatives of the Warwick Graduates' Association, such as the Student Hardship Fund and the Opportunity Fund. Teaming up with Greener Solutions, the European leader in mobile phone recycling, for every phone you send, the WGA will receive a donation of £2.50.

First Friday of the month throughout the year

Warwick graduates meet at ALL BAR ONE on the first Friday of each month at the following venues: 286-293 Regent Street, London; Bath; Brindley Place, Birmingham; Bristol; Cambridge; Lothian Place, Edinburgh; Leeds; Manchester; Sheffield.


WGA on My Space AND Facebook

The WGA has joined both MySpace and Facebook. We are keeping both updated with news, events and anything else we can think of that might interest you! You can join both communities to keep updated on Warwick happenings and to keep in touch with friends. It's a great way to let your friends know if you're planning to attend an event!
