SUMMER GRADUATION WEEK 2003
Graduation week took place on one of the hottest weeks of the year in a blaze of sunshine. The WGA and International Office set up a combined camp in the Mead Gallery and saw a couple of thousand graduates in the four days we were there.
This year we ran a Champagne Draw for a bottle of Veuve Clicquot which was won by Kimberley Tate (Sociology 2000 - 2003).
If you have just graduated and haven't yet signed up, you can still do so at www.warwick.ac.uk/alumni. Membership is £15 per year for the first two years. You will receive a 2003 yearbook and, if you pay by direct debit, a free ticket to the Christmas party on 13 December, worth £13.
For less than the price of one night out (depending on your drinking habits!) you get a full year of benefits for yourself and also the satisfaction that your membership fee is helping to support brilliant causes such as scholarships for young people from low-income families, hardship funds, sport at Warwick and much much more
If you decide not to join please keep in touch with us anyway and make sure we are informed of your contact details and what you are doing by visiting the WGA website at www.wgaalumni.co.uk/update or by emailing wga@warwick.ac.uk. You never know who might want to contact you via the Alumni Relations Office or what exciting opportunities might come up for you through the University. If we don't know where you are, we can't let you know about the things that will interest you.
Congratulations to everyone who graduated this month and welcome to the worldwide community of Warwick alumni! |
