Services for Alumni

Find out all you need to know about how the Alumni Office can help you and the benefits of membership of the Warwick Graduates' Association (WGA) click HERE. Your membership can also make a genuine difference to current Warwick students. Every year WGA funds scholarships and sets aside money to help those facing overwhelming financial hardship.

Networking
Several events are planned specifically for the purposes of professional networking. Annual events take place for those working in the media, law and the City of London. Full details are always sent to those whom we know work in the specified areas. Visit http://www.wgaalumni.co.uk

Careers advice
The University's Careers Advisory Service can help you with your lifelong career plans. The Service is always pleased to hear from graduates whether with their own career planning queries or providing vacancy information, or with offers of help with activities. Contact: careers@warwick.ac.uk or 024 7652 3766.

Link up with friends
The Development and Alumni Relations Office can help you to track down old friends. If we hold a current address for the friend, the Office will be happy to forward an open letter to the address which is held on the database. Alternatively you can use the WGA messageboard at http://www.warwick.ac.uk/alumni

Reunions
If you would like to organise a reunion, contact the Development and Alumni Relations Office for help with getting in touch with groups of old friends: regional, year, interest or departmental. For events organised by the Development and Alumni Relations Office and for details of overseas contacts and their activities visit http://www.warwick.ac.uk/alumni

Publications
Where a current address is held on the database, all graduates receive a copy of Warwick - the Magazine. In addition, WGA subscribing members can access the online directory, enabling them to contact people all over the world. Visit http://www.warwick.ac.uk/alumni

Get fit at discounted rates!
The Sports Centre offers all graduates the chance to become Authorised Users of the Sports Centre at a discounted rate, which is further reduced for WGA members. Further details 024 7652 4993 or visit http://www.csv.warwick.ac.uk/services/SportsCentre/

Language services
Entrance to the Language Centre is free to WGA members who can use the Self-Access Centre which is well stocked with course materials at various levels in a wide range of languages and equipped with the latest available language learning software, satellite television etc. The Centre also runs an extensive programme of daytime and evening leisure courses each year and offers WGA members 20% discount off public fees. There is also a specialist business language section comprising tailor-made, one-to-one or small group language classes, translating and interpreting services. Further information at http://www.warwick.ac.uk/LanguageCentre

Library use

This entitles members to access the Library whenever it is open; use of all printed works; borrow books from the Library; use the photocopying services and inter-library loans (this is a charged service). Library Enquiries Line: 024 7652 4103.
