Honorary Graduates
The University awarded nine honorary degrees at the summer degree ceremonies. The honorary graduands include royal reporter and I'm a Celebrity - Get Me out of Here! star, Jennie Bond (French and European Literature - 1968-71), award-winning scriptwriter Andrew Davies and Chair of the Commission for Racial Equality, Trevor Philips.
Warwick 4th in UK for Teacher Training
Warwick's Institute of Education achieved 4th position in a new league table of teacher training institutions in the UK, based on independent analysis of the latest figures from the Teacher Training Agency.
Football Managers train at Warwick Business School
Ten more football managers and potential managers have signed up to join the unique Warwick Business School course from which new Leeds Manager, Kevin Blackwell, Manchester City Coach, Stuart Pearce and Wycombe Manager, Tony Adams, graduated this summer. The Certificate in Applied Management in Football course is designed to provide business and personal management skills for the increasingly fraught business of football management.
